Good fun generally but aging in parts. Lucky if shop open!

Whilst there is still room for a lot of fun to be had here especially for kids and especially if they don't attend these sort of parks often the place is dating somewhat. They... read more

Great water park with slides, kids area and dive in movies. seems to be getting alot of big upgrades lately, new slides everywhere and some are pretty wild. the old kamakazi slide still stands as one of canberras big attractions. prices are high but to be expected at the level of quality of enjoyment you will get. downside is only... We visited this place few months ago. The owner refused my wife to enter with pizza while other people were allowed to enter. The owner is racist , non courteous and extremely rude person. The water slides are average.

Whilst there is still room for a lot of fun to be had here especially for kids and especially if they don't attend these sort of parks often the place is dating somewhat. They have added a couple of additional slides a few years back and without these it would be very mediocre. The kiosk has never been open when... More

I'm a local but haven't been here for at least 20 years. The older slides - the blue and red are a bit rough. I found us and a lot of others were choosing to only use the blue slide as it was kinda on your body as the red one throws you around, both you can feel the joints... More

Limited slides but great location and not too bad for a city such as Canberra that has a shortish summer season. Could be a little more friendly on the wallet but I guess they have to make a profit in the short season they have.

We went to Big Splash for the first time and were pleasantly surprised by the range of facilities on offer. It has a great selection of swimming pools of varying depths and a wonderful kids play area with waterslides and other water activities. Our kids (aged 4 and 2) absolutely loved it! As they are very young, we didn't use... More

We enjoyed our day out at Big Splash. There are 6 big water slides of varying speeds, plus a good baby pool with a little slide, and a little kid pool with half-sized water slides - good for primary aged children. There is a full sized swimming pool and a small family pool adjoining. There's lots of shade to sit... More

Having just spent a day at Jamberoo Water Park last week, I can honestly say Big Splash was better value for money, unlike Jamberoo if you don't want to use the water slides you don't pay for them, it's $27 for the water slides all day and believe me our 14 year old son had lost count how many times... Nice venue for a family day out - if you are expecting wet and wild theme park experience then you are not going to get it - more like a pool with some good slides as side entertainment. Inflatable play ground in main pool was enjoyed as well.
