Amazing university in lovely grounds

So many young minds working hard here as it is a research facility mainly. The lovely grounds are nice to walk in.

We drove through the campus. Worth a look to see where a lot of taxpayers $ go. Must be well funded. An interesting mix of historic and contemporary buildings, and grassed areas.

It's a Uni that is in need of a little cuddle, a tad tired and parking can be a nightmare, but hey, you are here for an education so put your head down and bottom up. A little cold in winter so make sure you pack warm clothes!

The ANU campus has to be one of the most pleasant in Australia. It is a short walk from the central Civic area. OK, there is not much to actually 'do' on a uni campus if you are not a student but it can be a good place to just relax for a while. I went there in late 2016... More

Wandered through on way to Botanic Gardens. The campus is spread out and some improved signage could have helped

The Australian National University (ANU) is in a bushland setting, punctuated by Sullivan's Creek that meanders through the grounds. The grounds are well maintained and if you can catch the gardeners in action they are only too willing to share some of the secrets of their trade. It's a good idea to plan your wanderings in advance so that you... More

The University grounds are very nice and you can also look at some historic places. The are good cafes and restaurants there too.

ANU is arguably Australia's foremost university. It's grounds are a great place for a walk. The depth and breadth of subjects offered by the university are eye opening.

We live in U.K. But our family are in WA and we have visited Australia many times during the past 25 years. This was our first visit to Canberra and we thoroughly enjoyed the city, the museums and the restaurants. What a wonderful experience for an undergraduate to study for four years. We felt privileged to be at the graduation... More

Beautiful during spring, but hardly a tourist location as it is a university campus. It has some good cafes like Gods for short stop bys.
