An easy 6 km stroll which takes in some of the best that Namadgi National Park has to offer. Kangaroos aplenty, and Aboriginal rock art. This is an out-and-back walk on a well marked, easy path. The walk takes you through open grasslands and small...More

We thought this would be like other National Parks where you go to the information centre and collect a map describing length and difficulty of a selection of walks and make a decision on what to do. Not so. No maps. Nobody behind the counter...More

Did the Mt Tennent hike in the Namadgi National Park. It is a rather strenuous hike, but worth the pain, Stunning views. The park has a nice visitors centre with knowledgeable staff. Well worth the visit

We started our walk from the smokers car park (just a few metres up from the bobbin slide car park area) and it took less than an hour each way. It was less strenuous as the climb up/down is minimal. There are flora & fauna...More

You need to do a little bit of research to find the turnoff to the carpark for this walk as the signposts are not that clear. Once you turn off the main road you follow a gravel road that passes through a couple of low...More

Beautiful park with some really worthwhile walks. If you go during the week, you'll have it all to yourselves! Less than an hour's drive from Canberra, too.

Yep, those answers are all correct. NNP is free and open all the time, however some of the access roads are closed from time-to-time if there are hazards.
