Having recently discovered this park, I as a bit surprised at the smallish size of it in comparison to Royal Parks, but it's a really nice green area to walk through, and you can even find a medieval battlement if you look hard enough!
I visited this as part of the Open House weekend and got to see the spectacular staircase. Unfortunately very little of the house was open for viewing so I would not recommend travelling far to see it. The park is tranquil and a pleasant place...More
Swakeleys park is well kept, large, and offers everything from water/ducks, wild flowers, open grassy areas to play footie or walk your dog, kids playground, flat cycle & walking path, decent amount of benches. And a wonderful array of friendly locals to chat with.
