Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

For foreigners the house is nice but not spectecular. All information is written only in Russian. But the landscape is amazing. We were there on a sunny and warm day and we loved the place. Unfortunately no buses there and only one nice situated café one km off the house.

The place is very picturesque: if I were born there, I would also become a poet (a joke). Scenic hills, expanse of lakes, leafy forests all together make a wonderful example of Russian nature. The estate does not disharmonize with the surroundings and provide many interesting facts about the poet’s way of life and habits.

Winter is not rather popular time here. Maybe that s why all this melancholic landscapes are looking like a poem, that s written only for you. Michailovskoye, Trygorskoye, Petrovskoye, Savkino, Voronich - mixture of names, relating to vast layers of Russian history, from Ancient Pskov frontier fortresses to the dwellings of Pushkin relatives & neighbors . Ones I ve easily walked through all this places in half a day.

Do you want to see the beauties of the nature of the North-West Russia? If so, take a trip there.
Everything is beautiful there, the creek is still running babbling to the mill, the river Sorot flows smoothly.
There it become understandable what was the source of such nice poetry.
Must be visited.

Once I came here in October and was enchanted with bright colours of the Russian countryside. This time it was June and I loved it again. You have to buy a ticket for the excursion if you are not part of the group. Our excursion lasted 1 hour and included Pushkin family house, a summer kitchen and a banya. The guides are professional and well- prepared, you will feel the atmosphere of the place. I also advise you to walk through the park where you will find beautiful old trees and imagine that Pushkin might walk towards you...

Nice place to feel the atmosphere where Alexander Pushkin lived and created his famous poems. Unfortunately nothing has been preserved form Pushkin times because his original house has been burned down several times. Still very nice walks through forests and parks and specially interesting and funny excursions buy very well taught Russian guides who are extremely fond of their beloved poet.

A small preserved estate where Pushkin's family lived. Everywhere is crowded with tourists. The excursion was probably good, but you couldn’t hear her, because... Everyone was jam-packed and single tourists were squeezing their way through. We didn’t go to any other museum object and just walked around the neighborhood. It's worth it!

... is a remake, but very smart and solves its problems of representing the life of a wealthy peasant of the Pushkin era perfectly. Explore with a guide or Lifehack: watch the tour online. It is better to take a ticket to the village and the mill that comes with the tour. The schedule is convenient. The mill is every half hour, and the village every hour. Total if you have time - 1.5 the whole package and free time. You can also go to the post office.

The main place of the Pushkin Nature Reserve is Mikhailovskoye, a small village granted as part of the lands of Mikhailovskaya Bay by Elizaveta Petrovna to Abram Petrovich Hannibal, Pushkin’s great-grandfather. The poet first visited this place in the summer of 1817 after graduating from the Lyceum. Here, during the two years he spent in exile, Pushkin wrote over a hundred works of art. The place is beautiful, all the recognizable corners and favorite images. But the slackness of the staff is a hindrance: in front of the entrance to the manor’s house, on the driveway, an aunt sits under an unsightly umbrella and, as if at a market, sells tickets. There’s not a lot of people in the house, but you can’t hear the poems, all everyday stories. On the alley, some artist approaches visitors with the goal of luring them into the hangar for a paid concert. There is no solemnity, no lyricism, and obvious untidiness on the territory. In general, there is no soul, and there is no order, of course. There is a luxurious oak, but the learned cat is missing.
