We called into the Hanson Bay Sanctuary for lunch. A basic menu but good enough! We had a look at the koalas and then went for the Wallaby Walk, which was probably better than the koala trees. Wallabies and kangaroos and an informative self-guided info sheet to go with it. This part of the Sanctuary was good, but I feel... More

It was such a treat to see koalas and some kangaroos/wallabies in their natural habitat. We were super lucky and saw some momma and baby koalas sitting in trees and a mom and Joey roo. So cute. Definitely recommend.

The wildlife sanctuary has Koalas and wallabies. We found few koalas on the tree, however limited wallabies. Not really worth $9pp cost. Not much to see.

Thankyou for visiting. We are so sorry that you did not see much wildlife. The wildlife retreats to cool shady places in the middle of a really hot day. You just need more patience to find them. To ensure satisfaction on the few really hot days we suggest visiting early or late in the day. More

See Koalas in the trees and the Kangaroos eating grass. We also saw some Wallabys. Great picture opportunities.

Great place to see koala's in the wild. Easy walk and make sure to look high up in the trees as well. They camouflage really well. We were lucky enough to see a mom help her baby up to some green leaves. Amazing experience.

Definitely the place to see Koalas, if you are not koalaed out by the proliferation of 'hold-for-a-photo' parks. If you want to see one here, he's 10 metres up a tree and stuffing leaves to his heart's content. They don't seem so stressed out with the constant cuddles because you'd have to be a good climber to even get close... More

This was a nice place to stop for lunch and even better with the koala walk. It was great to see koalas in the eucalyptus trees near the restaurant.

Great place to check Koalas in their own habitat. Nice park with two large "avenues" full of eucaliptus trees. In those trees you can randomly find Koalas in the top or in the bottom. In the day of our visit we found 4 koalas and two of them were very close to our group in the low part of the... More
