'An ancient, Arcadian country estate'

With a 125 acre estate of fine trees and open skies, Morden Hall Park is a tranquil hideaway enveloped by London. Follow the River Wandle as it meanders serenely through the park and under the ornate bridges. The atmospheric wetlands provide a natural haven for an abundance of wildlife including kingfishers, herons and dragonflies.

For our young explorers we have a natural play area where you can fly through the air on the zip wire before building your very own secret den in the woods.

Events run throughout the year, from family trails to summer theatre and open air cinema nestled amongst the roses.

'In each and every season, Morden Hall Park is yours to explore'

The Potting Shed cafe serves fresh, seasonal food including home baked cakes and treats. If you're looking for a special gift or simply want to treat yourself, take inspiration from our Garden Centre.

What a wonderful refurbishment there has been at Morden Hall – this gem of a location in southwest London. For 2 years we’ve looked-on from the National Trust’s surrounding, green parkland and wondered what progress was being made; and now we know. The spacious venue has been so tastefully redecorated and yet retains a “country house” ambience, with, of course,... More

Surprise find, best thing in Morden, quieter than more central parks but also more variety in terms of landscape and things to do. Recommend the outdoor plays and things they have on in the summer.

We are very lucky to have this open space, bequeathed to the local community and run by the National Trust. The river Wandle runs through the park and there are a number of historic buildings including the Snuff Mill, Water wheels, a manor house, cottages and the old stable block. The National Trust have made many improvements over the past... More

A nice place for your children to run around in the green and to see nature so close. It is even a place for adults to go for a run or walk even though this place becomes a bit busy during weekend.

One of my favourite places in Morden, Secret getaway from the hustle and bustle, beautiful walks over picturesque bridges, lots of activities for young families, great place for a picnic!

We spent some theme here in Saturday, and the park is delightful. Load of tracks to explore, plenty of birds to see, and the place seems to do lots of children's activities. The National Trust cafe was chockablock so we didn't stop for anything to eat or drink. Nice enough to spend an hour or so walking about. Entry to... More

We went after lunch with a beautiful sunshine day. Lovely park with different areas. I'm sure the rose garden will be amazing in May. Nice place just to walk, to ride the bicycles and for the kids to play. Also with a lot of story to know and enjoy. We must repeat

We live close to Morden Hall Park, and go there a lot with friends & family. Our children (7 & 8.5) love the space, and the freedom to run wild! On rainy days we pop into the 'aquarium' where there are thousands of fish for sale. In summer they paddle in the stream, swing & climb in the play area,... More
