We stopped in Utrech on our way to Brugge. It's a beautiful place but we thought it was a little bit expensive for what it offers. The weather was nice so we could take a nice walk in the park.

Cycled to the castle from Vleuten and spent the morning walking through the castle and gardens. Very interesting and most enjoyable. The gardens make a nice setting for a picnic on a summers day.

There is no way to buy tickets online for the Kasteel de Haar. You can buy them at the ticket office at the place only.

There are few lines going to Utrecht Station. From Utrecht Station, go outside, take bus which goes to vleuten station, and from there take bus thay goes directly to the de haar castle
