Nice option to go in family
Sep 2020 • Couples
It's an option with a hotel but you can only visit the estate facilities with all the family and with many options to have fun such as fishing, zip line, navigate in the lake and of course, there's a restaurant that we didn't try but it seems to be ok. You can go upstairs to have beautiful views from the place and it's really cheap all the activities. Please be aware to use all the sanitary measurements to avoid covid19, such as masks and gel

Great tour
Jan 2020
Many don’t know about this place. I only found out from a friend as well. Great place to visit with lots of history to it. We took a guided tour which is free and they take you to their renovated hotel and surrounding areas. The tour guide is very knowledgeable about the history, paintings and plants.

Nice add-on to Santuario de las Luciérnagas
Jul 2019 • Friends
We found this place the day after our visit to see the fireflies. I wish I had knew about it before because I would have totally stayed at the hotel Misión. We had breakfast at the hotel and visited the gardens and Chautla.
The breakfast buffet was good, the staff was very friendly, everything was clean and tidy. We walked around the exhacienda. There are some activities as fishing and a zip line. It was a nice stop on the way back to cdmx.

What an awesome place
Jun 2019 • Couples
We went here early in the morning to avoid the crowds. The place is beautiful, well taken-care of, and big. You may need about 4hrs to walk all around it. It has numerous historic buildings, a hotel, a restaurant, a lake where you can fish for trouts, paddle boats, and a zip line to see everything from above. The grounds are very lush and green, there are streams and woods all around the place. Very recommended.

Nice discovery in our way from Puebla to CDMX
Jan 2019 • Family
Made a 2hs stop in our way back from Puebla to DF. Very nice and upscale place, with a hotel (looks nice, but did not stay there), casual shopping outdoors and a very nice restaurant (I inly had snacks so cannot comment on the food). You can walk around to the “castle” which is really a nice old house, but we could only visit the terrace that has a nice view but no access to the interior of the house. There also outdoors activities like pedal boats and a tyrolean. Worth the visit.

Beauty abounds
Nov 2018 • Couples
We were not hotel guests but came to see the grounds. It is quite magnificent. The gardens are beautiful. The grounds are filled with beautiful views of an expansive lake and marvelous buildings.

THE PLACE IS AWESOME!
Aug 2018
The hotel is not worth the price. The service is bad in the restaurant. I spent 30 minutes waiting for someone to attend. And another 45 minutes to be served. While you can see plenty waiters just standing there. The rooms are not so beautiful and I did not have energy the last morning. Requested explanation and nobody gave a reason, no discount, no apology.
Non the less the Hacienda is beautiful, the gardens are a dream as well as the lake and the castle. It is worth going just to be there.

Relaxing Walk
Aug 2018 • Family
The Building is located in a very small town that you would not believe it. On our visit, the weather, the light, the ambiance invited us to walk, relax and admire the area, the gardens, the building, the lake and the views. Lots of pictures from many angles up-down and left to right followed our visit. This visit was not expected to be so relaxing, at the end we all went back happy with a completely different mood.
Will be looking forward to go back again in the near future.

Good hotel, problematic restaurant
Jul 2018 • Family
The Hotel is very good, the hotel grounds are beautiful. The rooms don’t have air conditioning, so it was hot! The restaurant doesn’t have the capacity for the outsiders, the excursion guests that come just to dine and leave.
