We spent a bit of time a few weeks ago at the Tractor Museum of Western Australia and it was surprisingly more interesting than I thought it would be. I Whiteman Park near the Caversham Wildlife Park we made a day of touring around Whiteman (still a funny name for a place, it should be changed to the less offensive... More

My Dad is a farmer from NSW and we visited the Motor Museum of Western Australia nearby. When we came outside he spotted the museum and we went over to have a look. What an amazing walk through history! It was great to have my Dad there to explain things to me to appreciate it more. We were also able... More

I was not very impressed, but then what else can you expect when looking at tractors and basic machinery.

Tried to visit the Tractor Museum today whilst at Whiteman Park. After waiting around for a while and checking out the outdoor exhibits (at around 11am) we concluded that the staff must be taking the day off. Still quite interesting to look at the outdoor exhibits but probably the inside is considerably better.

Nearly missed it as it was nearing 3pm when we reached. The volunteer was a little gruff but recommended my sons to climb onto a real tractor for photos. Many many tractors for the big vehicle enthusiast. Worth the walk across from Caversham Wildlife Park. Free but donations appreciated.

It is truly an experience, to see this collction of tractors from the past, and realise how hard and slow it must have been to cultivate large areas of land, with these machines. This Tractor Museum, is a real credit to those who have set it up and keep the display so neat.
