Exciting trip to the top!
Jan 2018 • Couples
Very quick (at least when no queue) - just 15 min to the top with one stop - don't throw your ticket away after entering!! You'll need it for cabin change! And amazingly beautiful way to reach the top or the foot of the mountain. Recently renewed Austrian equipment looks and feels safe, and the trip is a pleasure. Standing closer to the mountain side will give you some thrills when going up, but don't worry - you'll arrive safe:)

Impressive views on the top

Glad i waited in line for over 45min amongst Russian tourists and cheap souvenir stalls to get into an old cable car cabin to reach the top for a stupendous view of the Yalta coastline and black sea. There are lots of activities to do on top not to mention further souvenir shopping, and overpriced cafeterias - bring your own food and drinks.

Perfect place with an astonishing view

Perfect place with an excellent view. While going up in the cabin there are some places to try your nerves)) Beware of all Tatars up there trying to sell you something or sell you a picture with an animal. Although you will find there some very unique mostly handmade souvenirs.

but the cable car is very old; you have to wait in a huge line to get on it and the staff are extremely rude.

Best Views!

I would recommend to "get up" via cableway but for "coming down" take a "minibus" in order to experience both sides of the mountain.

Beautiful view for the value of money

Cable way Miskhor is opportunity to get onto Ai Petri mountain. The price might be to high for locals but for people from EU is ridiculously low. You could choose to go by car with locals for very similar price, but I won't advise doing it as it will take longer and will be tiring.
If you have a good stamina, you may hike to the peak, but it will be also tiring.
When you get to Ai Petri you can spend there whole day, locals have a lot of attractions to offer.
