I figured there should be a more recent review than 2014 since much has changed under Russia. The bazaar is still there, but not as “thrown together” as it used to be. They have more of a warehouse feel to the shops, and the restaurants are large, all indoors, and regulated by Russian sanitary laws. All quite clean.

It is crowded riding the cable car to the top in summer, and the drive can be “exciting” with the narrow, curvy roads.

They have a bunch of things to do: zip lines, rope bridge, horseback riding, fresh , and a whole lot more. Well worth the visit, for the views if nothing else.

Particularly exciting to reach the top with funicular; in winter try to choose second half of the day - then higher chances to have beautiful view to the coast instead of clouds all around

We've been to Crimea few times visiting relatives, however, there was always no time to do more travelling around the island. This time we decided to visit few places and first in our list was Ai-Petri. The queue to ticket office was long, but was fast going. Within 15 min we were waiting for a cabin to take us to the top. More higher we were going, better and more beautiful views were opening up before our eyes. The ride took around 15 min to get to the top of the mountain. Absolutely stunning views!!!! Definitely worth seeing!!! Even our son enjoyed looking down the coastline and a city. You can spend as much time as you want, no hurry. Then you have a choice of taking a cabin back to the bottom as previously or you can take a ride in minivan with some other tourists and a tour guy ( for the same price) and visit few more places on your way down. Up to you. In general, Ai-Petri worth visiting for sure!!!

I have been on Ai-Petri a couple of times and i can tell you that the view from there is breathtaking!
There is a Tatar settlement on the top of the mountain and they provide the visitors with many activities like horse and camel riding and more.
Tatars have also a few restaurants in the area that you can taste local delicatessen with good wine.
The place is accessible by car and by a long ride with a cable car.
Holidays there is a big line for the cable car.

better developed infrastructure is needed.
The mountain has an incredible view and nice walks. There is a great rope-bridge "attraction" across a canyon of around 1300 meters deep. There also are nice caves and just beautiful forests. There are amazing restaurants on the mountain with amazing homemade food.
However, to get there you have to have your own car or pay lots of money to a tour company. Only cash is accepted everywhere and the cable car looks like it was there in Soviet times. The staff at the cable-car are extremely rude.

""Eagle Zalyot "of 1350 m, the Lordly glade and the Serebryanny Streams falls - a cave "Danilcha-Coba""
5 of 5 stars the Response in processing
The ridge of Ah-Petrinsky mountains quite big also stretches as along Grand Canyon and to Yalta and occupies blizhlezhashy mountains and settlements in the Belbeksky valley of the Bakhchsarai Rein as Falcon. Near Falcon towering the mountain "Eagle залёт" 1350 m with the beautiful viewing platform on the Belbeksky valley and Ah-Petrinsky mountains towards Yalta and a view of Grand Canyon. The way on the mountain can be begun with Falcon along the automobile route to Yalta by the official beginning of an entrance on the Canyon along Kokozk's river against the current aside and you can walk on footpaths along the river to the bridge and then rise up by the route. Near an official entrance on a canyon a set of souvenir shops and big restaurant "Canyon" with arbors - you should bypass this restaurant from a facade and to come to a main dirt road which conducts up on the mountain - well there is also an official route on "Eagle залёт" and the Serebryanny Streams falls where from you will take 100 rubles for visit of the reserve. Unfortunately in the presents time the falls have collapsed and don't represent that beauty which can be seen on my video according to the reference but you will walk to the Yusupov pond where the count Yusupov bred a trout. The pond is filled with a source from karst breed - very fascinating a show and I advise to drink and gather waters from this source as further throughout rising of water you won't meet any more. Itself we will fall takes 3 hours well or three and a half hours and quite hard with long rises up - but it is worth it. After the lake you leave to the first viewing platform of mountains at the height of 600 m and rise continues. On the way on the mountain you cross constructions of a forest area (the former Tea lodge" and you pass an oak with a sign on the only road the index" Lordly glade" ущё minutes 10-15 and you have come to the Lordly glade above sea level of 1350 m. On this glade the Ketmechtsky guerrilla group was located during the Second World War in 1941-42g. about what the sign says. Crossing a glade in the direction of travel you dive into a bush with a footpath and you come to the viewing platform on the Belbeksky valley and Ah-Petrinkiye mountains with the review to Yalta, the Radar and a canyon. On a glade of lips the shop but is better to sit on an observation deck and to plyubovatsya by types. When you leave the Lordly glade to you it will be necessary to get on the road on the left side in the direction of travel with the index of a natural monument of a cave "Danilcha-Coba" and to follow this road to visit a cool karst cave with izvestnikovy stalagtita. In a cave there is water. After visit you go down the visible abrupt road a footpath within 1.5-2 hours. Also you have an idea of the nature and a landshavta of this place Ah-Petri.
I have displayed all this in my video which you will be able to look according to the specified reference to YouTube(Krymskiy ruckzak) -" At the Campaign on the mountain Eagle out Flight"

The only downside is long(sometimes, depending on your luck) line to get boarded on the Cableway. Try to arrive as early as possible. On top of the mountain you will find nice restaurants, with design and menu that supports local spirit. Views are AMAZING!
Absolutely a must!
