We decided to visit this pub on a visit to Angle. Be aware, this is well off the beaten track and can be found at the bottom of a stoney track, just follow the signs. Lovely old pub set at the side of the water. The tiny little bar area had a lovely fire going. Large beer garden. We ordered... More

Took a detour on our way home after a weekend down west. Haven't been here for over 10 years. The welcome was excellent as well as the cider. Both of us went for the beef dinner. Crisp roast potatoes. The beef tender, veg just right especially the cheesy leeks plus extra gravy without having to ask! One of the best... More

Went on a Tuesday for lunch as it was shown on Trip Advisor as being open. Having driven down the rickety pot holed road we were looking forward to some food. However there was a little chalk board in the front garden to say it was only open Wednesday Fridays Saturday and Sunday. That sign could have been put at... More

We popped in for a quick lunch having walked along to coast for. 3 mile walk. We had the whitebait which was delicious and a very generous portion together with a superb prawn sandwich. Staff were very friendly. Would definitely return when we are next in the area.

Fantastic old pub with character and characters, we called in one afternoon in November whilst out for a drive/stroll. Good job we were driving, could have got very messy. Such a friendly landlord or custodian of the pub as he described himself. Great food and great real ales. Would stay here for a week if i could put the motorhome... More

We popped in to the pub on the off chance, after a late finish on the beach in Angle. We were welcomed by the landlord who was very accommodating of our two dogs and children. It had been a cold day and we were glad to settle in by the range. The location is superb and I can imagine on... More

I was doing a long coastal walk and stopped here for a late lunch. There is also wifi which was great. You couldn't fault the friendly welcome and service and the fire was burning in the grate when I arrived. The food was plentiful and good too. On a sunny day you can sit out in the garden an look... A lovely location on the waters edge. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed a freshly cooked lunch outside in the sun just meters from where we tied up our boat. We were a party of six, we hadn't booked and arrived just before the kitchen closed but the staff were helpful efficient and welcoming. The menu was simple... More
