Great place for a walk and a soak in the pools. The Nikau Pools area was especially nice (though the cold pools down the bottom would be great for the kids in summer!)

These pools are relaxing and there are a variety of pools to chose from. The outside pool was very refreshing on a hot day. The staff are friendly and helpful.

We stopped for a break from the drive from Wellington to Gisborne. there are walking tracks to take a break from sitting down and hot pools to relax in. well maintained tracks and friendly staff.+
