A few notes about Barayo: if you go anywhere near high tide the surf gets rough. The sand drops off quite near the shore which means the waves will break high and close to the shoreline if you are anywhere outside low tied.
We walked round the costa from Puerto de Vega. I was great to have a proper coastal walk and then find a stunning beach at the end, although the final descent to the beach (and climb back) are a little challenging.
