Not worth the $6 entrance fee. This was once a beautiful place to visit, but not any longer. Chain link fence is a very ugly safety feature along the river. You can see a small portion of the falls, but not the whole thing, only part of the top quarter due to the cedar trees blocking the view. On wet days, wet rocks are a slip hazard. The area is also overgrown with brush. It's only worthwhile for a five or ten minute stop before heading up the Beaver Valley or as a picnic stop.

A definite must. Very beautiful and lots of hiking trails for the novice and experienced hiker. Very peaceful and well kept.

As you drive near the Beaver Valley resort be sure to stop by Eugenia falls just outside Eugenia lake.. protected by a stonewall it is safe for children to peek at these majestic falls.

We just stopped for a short visit to look at the falls. Its definitely worth the short drive to visit Hogg's falls as well. Incredibly beautiful place, very quiet and peaceful. There is loads of hiking and exploring to be done in this area. Its really an untouched area in Ontario.
