Magical place

If you manage to find it, you are there for a treat...

We followed sat nav and had no success in finding it. We asked locals and finally found it at the end of a small track with a big wooden sign “waterfall” (!!!) after a large guesthouse Olimpia (currently bright orange) and just before (currently green) Amelia guesthouse.

It’s about 5 min walk from the car park by the bridge. It’s an easy peaceful walk and the waterfall looks beautiful. Maybe because there was nobody around, maybe because it was late in the afternoon or maybe because it took me by surprise as it appeared from not where I expected it but it looked really stunning despite not being the biggest waterfall I’ve seen...

There is plenty of picnic tables nearby and it’s probably quite busy in the summer (or winter as it’s advertised as a great pool for winter dip.

Our kids liked the waterfall but even more they liked the frogs jumping around from under their feet... we seemed to arrive at the breeding season.

Lovely waterfall
May 2017 • Couples
Traveled to this waterfall on a recommendation as we had not read or seen anything about it. Its not sign posted so finding it is not easy. Its a reasonably easy walk to the falls through a lovely wooded area, once there the path does get steep in places though it has good handrails, at the bottom of the falls is a open hut with seating which directly faces the falls and another area to the side with a large number of picnic tables.
We really enjoyed these falls.
