Like Norway in a nutshell place
Aug 2016 • Couples
the cabins, if you can call it cabins is mostly very old Norwegian traditional cottages decorated as they did in the 1700-1800 century. The best one are the cheapest ones but they have no private bathroom (shower in bath in another building) - but it is like living in a fairytale. Cosy river/creek at the premises, a really nice little bakery that will make your mouth water. A not miss and so affordable ! They have bigger ones with bathrooms - but the feeling of going back in time is not that present.

Great and cheap traditional cabins in beautiful area
Jul 2015 • Friends
This place has really nice, traditional cabins which are in-expensive to rent. The place also has a bakery where they bake fresh breads and sweets every day on wood fired oven. The place is located at a nice river, and there are opportunities for nice hikes i the area. It takes about 45 minutes to drive to Haukeliseter from this place, and the place can serve as a base for hiking at Hardangervidda.

Great Cabins and Camp Site

Lovely campsite along a river, with a few grass roofed cabins to rent or a chalet with fire place...also a bakery on site making good cakes and bread. Art Gallery and shop selling local and fair trade products
