Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A terrific way to spend time on Slea Head Drive. Everyone the was so welcoming and friendly. The sheep herding demonstration was amazing and we even spent time afterward enjoying tea and cake and taking with the owner. And of course, the views were incredible. We can't wait to go back.

The views on the drive to Dingle are amazing. Once there, we got to watch their clever border collie herd sheep, we got to hold baby lambs, and bottle feed the sheep and lambs. We loved it! The owners of the farm were super nice. Also, they have ancient bee hive huts on their property, which were really interesting to see. I highly recommend this experience.

A fantastic experience! We all - kids and adults alike - had a great time holding the baby lambs and watching the sheep dog demonstration. The family members who run the farm were wonderful to talk with as they shared their stories and expertise.

We visited the site for a Sheepdog Demonstration and were wowed by the team of Michael and his 11 yr old dog, Jake, as they herded a flock of sheep. Just amazing.
The lambs and beehive huts were very interesting as well.

Our family enjoyed the opportunity to hold and interact with the lambs. We paid the extra to be able to feed the babies a bottle.
I'm allergic so I enjoyed walking the property and examining the Bee Hive huts.
To be honest, it was a bit disorganized. There were many people trying to access the site and participate in feeding the animals and there wasn't much of a smooth process in place to allow everyone equal time and access. In fairness, it is a family-run business and they were doing their best accommodating the many people interested in this unique activity.

When I discovered Hold A Baby Lamb & Beehive Huts on Instagram, I knew it would be a Must Stop on our upcoming drive around the Dingle Peninsula. It didn’t disappoint. It’s the best 4 euros I’ve spent: the lambs are just adorable! I booked my ticked on the Hold A Baby Lamb website ahead of time, since late June is a busy season. Got into the lamb shed right away. I got to spend as much time holding baby lambs as I wanted. Then, right out back, we visited the ancient beehive huts. These huts can range in age from thousands of years to a more “recent” 12th century. They’ve weathered the centuries, proving how well they’re built. So for an up-close look at archaeological treasures AND adorable baby lambs, you can’t find a better place than Hold A Baby Lamb, easily accessed as it is right on the Slea Head Drive. Also appreciated the coffee shop and rest room!

Loved Aedan, his dad and the sheep! Sheep dog working demonstration was so interesting and the lambs….. 2 days old and so so soft! Enjoyed the coffee and tea and great conversation. Very nice to be able to see beehive huts up close! Highly recommend!

We had the best time feeding and holding baby lambs. It was a rainy day and it didn’t matter once we saw those baby lambs.
Unfortunately due to weather we didn’t explore the farm as we would have liked.
We highly recommend visiting this farm.

Nice little stop on our way around the Skellig ring. The baby lambs had full bellys by the time we got there so we bottle fed through the fence some older lambs, still fun. Also added $ on a sheepdog demo, also fun

Though signs are posted everywhere, we missed it the first time around because we did not put in to the maps the complete address. We ended up at a gorgeous beach instead. Do up and over the mountain we went to go once again.
The proprietors were wonderful in that even though we missed our allotted time slot and miss the feedings, we were able goin and pet the lambs. It’s very chill… and fun. Lots of lambs. Watch where you step!

Was this the second “Lamb” stop on the way out to SleaHead? I was just there twice this month and I’m trying to determine which stop it was from your pictures. I had a talk with the owner Aedan about how people don’t realize that his Gran’s was the original “Hold a Baby Lamb” and how unfortunately people don’t realize and stop at the first.
