The castle has so much untapped potential, I was excited to be going there but disappointed by the lack of enthusiasm and setup of things when we arrived. A tour guide / person to talk about the castle would have been awesome. I still know nothing about why it's there. The girls were nice enough the castle itself was interesting... More

Went there hoping to spend at least half a day there. Was disappointed that we finished within one hour considering I am a medieval fan. There is a massive doll exhibition my 6 year-old thought it was freaky. Kids got really bored we sat and waited doing nothing. No air conditioning the whole place was hot and sleepy.

Easter bunny (hunt), and lots of stairs climbing up towers. Great family adventure. Detailed explanation about medieval weaponry by Sir Justyn was enjoyed by the family.

Lots of stairs but both the view and info was worth it. Cannon fire at the end was very loud we all jumped!

It's a medieval castle in the subtropics. If you go in with your disbelief suspended, you'll have a fun hour or two. At $15 per adult it's very reasonably priced. Explore the courtyard, try activities like archery, put your kid brother in the sticks and try on a wimple. Then you can climb the round tower, pretending to visit Merlin... More

This attraction is a great place to let the kids imaginations run away. A fun place that provides a learning environment as well. The climb to the top of the battlements is worth it for the 360 degree views of the hinterlands and the mountains.

Needs more activities inside the castle. The house next door also ruins the view. Not a good place to visit if you don't like stairs!

Dear Josh. Thank you very much for taking your time to leave us your feedback. Unfortunately, there is not much we can do about the property next door. We are sorry to hear that the treasure hunt and armour display didn't satisfy your activity needs. We do offer a more extensive program of activities throughout the school holidays. Thank you... An interesting little castle that sits high above Bli Bli. The castle is in need of a bit of renovations, but it can be interesting as it is. $15 for entrance fee and yours to explore. There is a lot of stairs, so not suitable for people who are in wheelchairs, or have problems walking. Children must be supervised when... More

Dear Maria, thank you very much for taking your time to write your review about the castle. There are quite a few stairs indeed.
