Even if you do not attend any conferences or workshops at Esalen, you can get a massage (the famous Esalen massage) then watch the sun set from thermal pools on the cliffside above the beach.

Magical wonderland. Love everything about this place. Had some of the best slumber in a long time. I had a phenomenal thai massage that was priceless. Enjoyed the incredible night sky while soaking in the hot baths.

Hi Christine, I am not on staff at Esalen, but I did stay there. I booked a higher priced private room and it was mold free from what I could tell. It wasn't fancy but it was comfortable with a beautiful view of the ocean... More

Hi - Stayed in a loft which was in a 3 person room with 2 beds downstairs. Had my own space in the loft with a single bed. The ceiling was a little low and the steps were steep. Enjoyed the loft
