This is a lovely property with a cooking school and a small but well stocked gift shop with quality Mexican food and crafts. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Great coffee from Chiapas for sale to take back home with you.

My sister and I attended the Little Mexican Cooking School during our recent stay in Puerto Morelos. What a great experience! I am quite an experienced home cook and really had pretty low expectations about just how much I would learn. I was so wrong! Chef Pablo covered everything from knife skills, to detailed information about ingredients, to the history... More

My wife and I took the class. It was the best cooking class we have ever taken. Chef Pablo Espinosa is a great teacher and funny too! He teaches you how to cook, not just how to make the dishes as most other cooking classes I have taken. He works on knife skills, how to sharpen a knife, how to... More

Learned a few simple dishes which were tasty and appealing. Very amazing experience Lots of hands on work, and many tastings throughout. Enjoyed sitting with our fellow classmates to enjoy the fruit of our labor. Well worth making this adventure a priority.

My husband and I decided to visit the cooking school on Valentine's Day during a visit to PM. We were not disappointed!! It was a wonderful day of learning about Mexican cuisine. Chef Pablo is an amazing man & you can see the passion he has for what he does. He made us all feel right at home. Our meal... More

My wife and I followed the recommendation from one of my cousins to attend one of their cooking classes. The whole experience is enjoyable, performed in a relaxed atmosphere, and all done with a sense of fun. You get a bit of history, a recipe pamphlet and a gorgeous apron as you're taken through the recipes with you as a... More

What a wonderful way to spend part of a day in Puerto Morales. Our class was small (12 people). They designed a special Valentine's Day menu that we all interactively prepared, led by a local chef, and then enjoyed eating together. Our chef instructor led us with some basics of Mexican cooking (which resulted in my returning home with an... More

For a wonderful introduction to Mexican cooking -- plus a really good time -- look no further than the classes offered by the Little Mexican Cooking School. Catriona has put together a great team (we had Pablo, who was funny, easygoing, passionate about his subject, and knowledgeable with it), and we came out full of ideas we could take home,... More

Thankyou for taking a moment to review us! It really makes us all feel proud that you came away so happy. I do endeavour to please so finding great teaching chefs is a passion for me and the fact that they are ALL "easy on the eye" has been a happy 'coincidence'. It could also have something to do with... More

We would recommend taking a cooking class here! The chef was knowledgeable, easy going, and made the class fun. Thanks Pablo! And we also liked that we could purchase quality items in the store, that we used in our class.

It is a great way to learn more about the Mexican kitchen and a perfect way to spend your day! I joined the course with my husband and we really enjoyed it. The chef is talented and tells you everything about the Mexican kitchen you need to know. We made some nice dishes which were delicious! I can recommend it... More
