Worth a visit. Artifacts from 1803...nice wood carvings/ paintings plus classic window painting. Will take probably 30 minutes to walk around and more if you like to appreciate the serenity near the river.

It is one of the most beautiful monastery in this part of Romania. It is really impressive how the orthodox ritual was kept and the architecture also. by the other hand, you can find here a piece of the Romanian history. A must see place.
The Eastern Orthodox Cozia Monastery was erected between 1387-1392. It is the most visited monastery in Romania and has some of the richest history. It is certainly worth having a look at it if you are travelling through that area.
It is the best example of Byzantine architecture in Romania (build before the fall of Constantinople) and a burial place of the most important ruler in Wallachian history Mircea the Elder (grandfather of Vlad the Impaler "Dracula"). Must-see while driving through the valley of Olt.
A nice church, monastery actually with great history. Great location, it also have a small museum with holy stuff. Always to return when you need time for yourself, or just to see a very nice monastery.
