My eight year old grandson loved the ride. I was told all the staff and maintenance is all done by volunteers. The Museum is great it takes you back to when things were good and simple.

Went for family day out, son was able to safely ride bike we went and looked at the railway meseum it was busy as had a boating event on which was good to watch

Amazing volunteers keep this train running. Great fir kids if all ages... brings back memories for us oldies... great for the young to experience train travel as it was. Check website for Father Christmas Specials great

what a lovely way to spend a day at Chasewater, the train ride is great for the young and old alike. the natural reservoir of Chasewater is a really lovely place to wander round looking at all that nature can offer

Great for a picnic or day out! There are water sports here and a great atmosphere. Views are nice. Good to visit on a nice sunny day!

Try silver birches caravan park, this is also a campsite nearby if you supply your own van etc. I hope this helps.
