Nice Typical old France village. Some good but simpel restaurants. Walking into the city upstairs and visit the old church.

This little village, perched on a rocky mountainside, is much more authentic and pleasant to visit than the more famous St Paul de Vence. Though still touristy, the atmosphere is calmer and the views are more stunning. Get some “pain d’épices” from La Marquisette before...More

Visited Gourdon one afternoon with the thunder rolling around us, very dramatic as it is set high up near the French alps. Amazing views and although the village is full of tourist shops a lot of-them are artisan selling soaps perfume jams and sweets. You...More

The village is located a very nice spot which on a clear day will give you an awesome view of Cote D'azur. It's a small village with architecture that give you feel that you have travelled back in time.

Beautiful town with stunning views. It’s absolutely tiny so you won’t need long here but there are some lovely cafes and local shops. You need cash here as 10 Euro min on cards due to poor reception

A lovely, small French village where we had one of the best meals we’ve had on our trip to Italy and France. It’s high in the mountains so the air is crisper.

Gourdon offers stunning views of the Cote D'Azur. It is not very big, so doesn't take long to explore. It has the usual mix of tourist shops, bars & restaurants. If you're feeling energetic there are some circular walks up and over the Plateau de...More

After a week in this area I felt I had visited quite few of these places and I would say this one is still very lovely but not as dramatic as Eze or Saint Paul de Vence. Still it is very charming and affords you...More
