Nice pick if you wanna do some snorkeling - the wreck is clearly visible from the water-level and you do not really need to dive deep. Not too far from the beach, really. There's a nice little kiosk just above the beach run by a nice and gentle lady who knows a lot about the wreck, its story, and the... More

Great spot for families to join the underwater world of free diving in these crystal clear waters og Pomonte. No sediment in the water makes the sight very good.

The beach itself is small but nice. Perhaps a little crowded, but this is rather common on Elba in August. Anyway the Pomonte wreck was the main reason we came there. Diving was absolutely amazing. Pretty shallow but beautifully preserved wreck, even OWD divers can handle. And it is sooo worth it :)

Due to the recent heat wave, most of the beaches we went, the water were not that clear. Here is the good place to spend a day doing some snorkeling because there's a sunken ship close to the beach in reachable distance. Only thing really painful is walking to and coming back from the sea cuz the beach is made... More

Easy to reach by Pedalo or even swimming, great visibility, Doable for kids at 10 years. The relict is not far down.
