I have been there many times, it's a very interesting place, well kept archaeological roman area. It's same miles away from campobasso, in a rural area. Close to the main road and easy to find. Amazing , quite big. If you stay in that area you have to visit Altilia. Recommended👍👍

Quiet but picturesque and enough information (in English!) to discover the area. Very few tourists as it is quite remote. Definitely worth the visit.

This Roman town, built on a pre-existing Samnite settlement is little known but the Italian public, let alone by foreign torurists. And yet it is well worth a visit. The ruins include all of the original four gates (you can climb onto the battlements of one of them), a very well preserved theatre, the forum (with a very beautiful foutain),... More
