Had a great time with my small group when we visited the family owned wine bogega of Vino Fiala in Modra Slovakia. Martin, our host was very gracious, welcoming and informative. His sister prepared a delicious plate of local chesses, hams, and local pastries. When tasted 5 wines and although some of us had liked to taste some red, apparently the area is famous for the whites. Very enjoyable.

We loved our time here! Martin was so helpful, friendly and informative. The wine and food were delicious, something really special. I can not recommend Vino Fiala enough! We had so much fun and learned a lot about the region as well as wine production. Amazing day, thank you so much.

I visited Vino Fiala together with my parents. I e-mailed the winery just a day before and asked if a tasting was possible. Martin replied imidiately and we visited the day after. Little did I know we would stay for over two hours and get to taste the most delicious wines! I was sad I could only buy two bottles as I didn't have more space in my luggage. The passion and sense of wanting to share is something I'll never forget. Me and my parents traveled around Europe for two weeks and we all agreed on that the trip to Vino Fiala was the best highlight! Thank you Martin for the hospitality! I will be back one day.

Very friendly owner, certainly a great experience when in Modra. We had a wine tasting for about 2 hours and tasted ca 10 wines. Mr. Fiala is very nice and knows a lot about wine and history. The wine tasted well, we left with a bottle of our favorite one.

We found Vino Fiala on Trip Advisor and reached out to do a one hour tasting. Martin and his family gave us a wonderful wine tasting and tour that highlighted great wines, history of the land and the heart of the family. When I look back on my two weeks, the visit to Vino Fiala stands out. Great wine and hospitality are found at Fiala.

We visited Vino Fiala during our stay in Bratislava. We truly enjoyed the wine and diner, but especially the passionate host and his wife and adorable kids.
When you are in Modra and would like an English speaking host, this is the place to be!

Mr. Fiala thank you for a very pleasant evening. We still enjoy the wine we brought back home.

We decided to visit Vino Fiala, a family-run winery, on our way to the High Tatras departing from Bratislava. We called the host very last-minute requesting a visit, only two hours before, and he was incredibly friendly and welcoming. You enter the winery through a rustic, wooden door and enter a beautiful garden where pastries already await you. Thank you for the unique experience!

I've been in a lot of wine tours around the world by now, and here in Martin's place there was truly something beyond the normal tour.
Great experience of tasting his great wine, eating his tasty appetizers, and learning about wine production and Slovakia.
Most recommended!

An Amazing experience. Martin was extremely knowledgeable with all types of wine and had answers for all of the questions we had. The cheese and vegetable platters were great accompaniments to the wines he had for us to try. We were fortunate that we were the last booking of the day and we could chat about wines and the family business for a short time after the designated time allotment.
