Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

In 2021 a rather new wooden tower with a great 360° view. A nice and easy 50 minutes walk away from Zochova chata hotel.

New view tower build last year offers beautiful views. Easy hike for families from Zochova chata takes around 1 hour. Great in any season. In the winter u can ski in Zochova chata (if snow) and take something to eat.

The observation tower near to Modra town, accessible by quite easy one hour hiking tour from Zochova chata. Tower stairs are comfortable, views are breathtaking - go and see.

a nice place to visit. it is a tower in the mountains that it is nice to climb. we visited the place while it was snowing and windy. I think that kids would love it. I think that on a nice day you can see to a distance. the tower is brand new and is safe to climb but still, you have to be careful with little kids.

approx. 40 minutes of walking from Zochova chata, it was a lot of snow, so took a bit longer, you will have a nice panoramatic view, if not foggy you will see also Alps in Austria

Finally there is brand new, nice and modern observation tower. Hike of 3.2km, 55min and 300m of elevation. Nice for families with kids, dogs or older people in any period of the year. Possible to make fire and picnic there.

The tower is currently gone, due to age and stability issues.
It should be replaced by a new one, but who knows when it happens.
At least the short trip from Zochova Chata is quite nice walk :)

Are you close to Modra town? Beside good wine tasting you can do a short hike in Small Karpats. It takes less the 1 hour from parking in front of Hotel Zochova Chata in Modra-Piesok. View tower is in 709m and tower it self is high 20 meters. Currently tower is closed but to be replaced by new one - follow information on internet. Hike is nice during all 4 seasons even when snow outside. Just 7 min from the peak are nice rocks called "traja jazdci" (3 riders), all is marked on touristic signs attached.
