We didn't know about the cave beforehand. We just saw a sign while on the way to Danarak and decided to ask around. A word of advice for anyone wanting to bring a car - while the road to Danarak was still fine, to Calinawan...More

This cave has a number of levels (per our tour guide). Initially, you can only explore the easy parts. After finishing it, you could opt to go deeper (with additional fee). I can only say that this cave is "sayang". It could have been beautiful...More

This is our first experience to enter a cave and it was a bit scary for me and my youngest as there were wet and slippery portions in the cave. The rock formations and the experience itself is priceless.

It was nice to quickly visit but not I recommend. Some stalactites and stalagmites lost its beauty where apparently some TV or movie production was made and placed some glitters all over them and on the wall. We just stayed there for 15 minutes.

alinawan Cave has now become a favorite tourist attraction in Tanay. Used to be the cave occupied by the Japanese army. There is a separate tour guide for this cave. Entrance fee is 200 pesos plus additional fee for the protective headgear.

We had a mild spelunking experience which lasted for less than an hour. There was some crawling in the mud in the third layer but it was still manageable even for not-so-active people like me. Going up to the 3rd layer was optional but I...More
