So far my most complicated hike. But all of the hardships are worth it because the view is just breathtaking. The trail is hard, combination of slippery mud, sharp edges and brittle stones. Every mountain enthusiast should visit Mt. Daraitan, let us help the local...More

To get to mt. Daraitan, we had to ride a van from Manila to Rizal, cross a river through a raft, ride a tricycle, and walk, walk, walk.. When we reached the summit of Mt. Daraitan, we felt that all the difficulties that we've been...More

It is advisable to begin the ascent not after 6 a.m. The climb was completed in three hours (a good time, on average it takes four); the ascent, already quite challenging itself, has been made harder by mud and rain. At the top, the view...More

Mt. Mamara stands right beside Mt. Daraitan. It's usually the destination of those (like us) who weren't able to make it to the cut-off for Daraitan. Good thing, Mamara gave us a great climb experience. Rocks can be slippery and moist but everything is worth...More

The trail, the view is very mesmerizing... It was just very near in Metro Manila. You can do hiking, caving and swimming all in one package.

It was quite muddy since it rained a bit during our trek but the beautiful rock formations along the way made it worth our while. It's a fairly easy trek but still it's good to be careful when navigating the rocks and the hanging bridge...More
