This beach is so beautiful. Lovely soft golden sand for miles. It was not busy at all. The sea was also lovely, cold but lovely. We all swam. The kids loved it too. One of the nicest beaches in Europe that I have been to.

A very very attractive coastline, quiet if not visiting in mid summer, has an air of calm sophistication about it.

Sunny day, wind against tidal current. Wearing only 3mm/2mm neoprene. Perfect conditions, considering that in the rest of Europe it's January really cold weather.

Couple hours journey from Lisbon - well worth it. Very nice and clean beach. Water was cold - but on extra hot summer day it doesn't really matter.

A beach with a view to Arrábida, very nice for adults and children. Depending on the season, you might get the company of mosquitos so bring a good repellent.

Good beach - not busy, not commercialised. Enjoyed it. Sun loungers cost 20 euros per day. Huge beach area. Helpful walkway to the major hotels.
