Beautiful place close to the beach

Amazing Gold-platted building close to the beach and few steps from the Laem For village. The place is very quiet, with nice relaxing atmosphere.

This beautiful area marks the end of the Island. The headland is the most southerly point on the Island and the Buddhist Monks have the Pagoda Temple. Pagoda is the triangle shaped temple you see all over this region. This was build in 1907, 1967 hit by lightning and run down until 2003 when it too two years to rebuild... More

Amazing place to visit when you walk from Laem Sor. on the beach Quiet Buddhist pagoda with is most beautiful by the sunrise when the morning sun shines on. There is a road to the pagoda as well.

This was my daughter's favorite. If you just go to the temple then back to your car you'll miss some interesting sights. Be sure to walk around and explore.

This interesting set of buildings is set off the main ring road, and is approached through an inconspicuous arch, then follow through a set of discreet villas towards the beach. The temple is found right on the beach, but in addition has an interesting museum building, allegedly housing the actual preserved body of a monk who saved many from a... More

The pictures are a little flattering! You never see the shack in the foreground, and the sea on the pictures is always perfect! Not worth going out of your way to see, but worth a look if you are passing by! It actually looks more impressive from the sea.

There are two parts to this Temple; one high up with a perilous and steep ascent which might deter the intrepid, then the other easily accessible part at sea level, housing the ship and real life Monk who guided the boat to safety a long time ago. Climb up from the shore, and there is another small unique temple, set... More

We visited this Pagoda on a rainy day during a private shore excursion from our cruise ship. Had the weather been better, we would have been in a far better position to appreciate the location at the beach. Nevertheless, it is something that I'd recommend be part of your tour of Koh Samui. I would estimate that 30 minutes would... More
