The highlight of the beach are the stunning views overhead before you trudge down to the beach. Once you are at the beach the views are pretty good with cliffs on either side but the beach is very rocky. We had caught it in high...More

Amazing views of rugged coast line, steep cliffs and a stony beach. Beautiful flowers along the path. Narrow access road and steeps steps, with a handrail- thankfully-to the beach. Need to be able to get down and up to beach..

Breathtaking and easy to reach via car. There is also a path to walk until the beach but it was too wet and we preferred the warm car

This is a must if youre on the area! Its perfect for spending a quiet afternoon with the soothing sound of the sea hiting the stones. Be aware its a 10 min walk downhill and then back, it's quite steep but the staircases are in...More

We shared the huge cove with 4 other people in April. You can get some excellent photos of the waves crashing on the rocks, and the patterns left on the beach by the tide. I suspect it would be difficult to park in the summer.

We read about this spot on TA and spent an hour there on our way to our hotel in Cudillero. The coastal scenic views are absolutely spectacular. Well worth the short detour off the motorway. You follow a one way road and park once you...More

We happened to take the Cantábrico highway to Asturias from Madrid and this stop was in our way. We decided to go down with the car from the highway to this beach and it was stunning. Quiet place, it was windy and rather late so...More

Rocky beach that requires a bit of steep hiking up and down. But it's totally worth it. We didn't pay for parking, there was no indication for payment. The sea was very wavy that day but it was still swimmable. Enjoyed a lot. If you...More

Playa del Silencio offers some very beautifull views of the rough coast line of Asturias. On top of the cliffs there is a paid parking run by locals (€2). You can take the car further down, but it will be increasingly hard to park the...More

We had the misfortune of arriving when it was quite cloudy and leaving as the sun came out, meaning we made the steep walk back up to the car park in the blazing heat. The view from the beach (and from higher up) is lovely,...More
