Personally I prefer more remote locations, so I never spent a night on Kri. I nonetheless took a day trip around Mansuar (pretty wild) and Kri (pretty touristy) just to see what all the fuss is about. Cape Kri is so famous that you automatically...More

Mantas, turtles, a veritable gallery of marine life. Current can be very strong here however, which means lower visibility than other sites in Raja Ampat. Fabulous viewing however.

Awesome reef, a bit technical, current can be strong, wouldn’t recommend to beginners. (No self respecting guide would take you there anyway). Plenty of fish, corals, small stuff. The whole package!!! Amazing experience!

A sloping reef that goes down to about 30 m, leading to gentle sand slopes. The variety of fish is astounding, coupled with regular sharks ranging the area, and a residential school of sweetlips.

the drift depends on the tide phase. If you arrive on location at mid tide, the drift is strong, but at low or high tide it will be weak.
