3D2N and 2 kids on the "classic" Tanjung Puting National Park visit. It is unforgettable. Day 1: pickup at the airport, get settled on the boat, start cruising up the river, and a first (easy) stop at the first feeding site. Check out the various monkeys in the jungle along the way. Day 2: more crusing up river, Camp Leaky,... More

Imagine living on a Klotok boat in the wilderness of Kalimantan and yet enjoying every moment of it. One of the few places left where you can get close to the Orang Utans. And observe the orangutans in the wild.Amazing to see the mothers and baby swing so gracefully. The food served on the Klotok was excellent and very ggod service... More

Spent 3 nights on a klotok exploring the park. Wonderful way to view the abundant wildlife. The second and third feeding stations had less orangutans as these are newer in age. Camp Leakey is an amazing place to visit and support- their tireless work to help save the forests, nature and wildlife is admirable. The multitude of orangutans at feeding... More

If you want to see orangutans truly in the wild, this is one of the few places left on earth. There are about 7,000 in the National Park, and you can't miss them, with the noise they make crashing through the trees above your boat. The only way to do it is to book a Klotok, a small boat. You... More

I am just back from visiting Tanjung Puting national park . I chose to use siti's tours as she was able to arrange a female guide for me. This was good as I was travelling alone and had in other areas of Indonesia encountered sleazy guides. I shouldn't have worried so much in this area all the guides I met... More

The National Park can only be reached by scenic open boats for 2 or 4 people which will become your room and bedroom during the visit. The boat ride is amazing by itself, when you are lucky you can see gators, horn bills, some sorts of monkeys and even one Orang Utang came close and greeted us. We had a... More

Welcome to the Capital City of Orangutan. We spent 3D2N in Klotok, a house boat we used to reach orangutan station. Orangutan is a solitaire species that when you'd feel so happy to find them jump from one tree to another while walking in the middle of rain forest. Come and explore Borneo. We travelled with Be Borneo Tour and... More

This place blew our minds. Thanks to Orangutan Houseboat Tour for the opportunity to experience this magical part of the world. Stunning jungles, lots of wildlife and we were blessed with good weather too. Pack the mosquito repellant and lots of it. Plenty of Orangutan feeding stations for the opportunity to spot some wild orangutans. Camp Leakey was fascinating. A... More

Fantastic adventure on the river and in the park. Guaranteed to see orangutans. Recommend three days and two nights on a klotok houseboat. I used Jenie Subaru and he is fantastic...a local guide who now owns his own company and employs other locals on his three boats. Highly recommended!

My couple and me spent 3 weeks in Indonesia and we can assure this was the best part of the trip. Borneo is still quite virgin, which makes the experience more authentic. We recommend to rent your own klotok; It is not the same if you must share it with other people. We decided to contact directly a local guide,... More
