Amazing Place!

I wasn’t expecting this to be the best zoo that I’d been to but when I arrived I was pleasantly shocked, it’s very well maintained, all the animals look very happy and healthy and the shows were amazing! (Highly recommend seeing the pride of prey show), also there’s a lot of up close and personal encounters that you can have with most the animals and the food here was very nice, if you’re in Gran Canaria i definitely recommend coming here! Only reason this is a 4* is some of the animal enclosures look like they are slightly too small for them :(

Very nice zoo
Nov 2021
The zoo is in a dead end street, it is situated in a small valley in between hills. So protected from the wind. There are not so many species of animals but it is a nice park, clean and a nice nature (trees) area. A lot off parrots if you like parrots there are hundreds :-)

Warning

My 18 year old daughter and her 22 year old boyfriend ordered lunch in restaurant and waited for an hour. Their lunch was served to customers at a table nearby who rejected it. The waiter took it back and put it on the hot plates. My daughter approached the waiter to tell him that the dinner was theirs. He shouted at her in front of everyone and told her to sit down. They left the restaurant humiliated and hungry. I am disappointed that this bully ruined their experience of this park.

More space needed
Nov 2021 • Family
Lovely setting - park was laid out well…. But concerned some of the animal/ bird enclosures were very limited in size.
Monkeys looked forlorn and needed more space- meerkats looked perplexed behind the Perspex. Dolphin show spectacular - a highlight. Restaurant poor— we started eating a meal and the waiter had given us the next tables (very similar) order. He took it away….. and put it on their table. Fawlty Towers-Esque!!!
So- nice place/ great concept - but please expand into the expanse around the park and give these creatures some more space.

Great half day out.

Great place, something for all ages. Very clean, animal enclosures are very close to natural habitat, clean and food for animals was fresh, animals looked healthy and well cared for. Strongly recommend the birds of prey show, lovely to see the birds flying free in the mountains.
CAUTION: If travelling there by taxi, pre book to come home as taxis do not like to travel there after 5pm, as the park closes.
Staff friendly and helpful. 2 members of staff ( I think from the dolphin show) kindly took our party of 6 in their own cars to yhe nearest taxi rank as after 3 calls for a taxi and a 40 min wait, no taxi came.
Views are amazing, beautiful gardens along the way, totally worth the trip.

Great day out

Great day out, the birds of prey show is amazing and you get really close to them. Same with the dolphin show you can pay 20 euro to have your picture taken with one.
It’s quite a lot of uphill walking so take plants of water.

Brilliant day out for all.

Absolutely amazing day out with friends and family! Lots to see and do! Lots of different birds, turtles, tortoises, reptiles and fish. The birds of prey, exotic birds and dolphin show were fantastic and very informative. Spoken in both Spanish and English. We paid 60€ for the out of water dolphin experience which my daughter absolutely loved. This also included a photo with a dolphin which would normally cost 20€ on its own so well worth it! Would definitely visit again.
