Great saunas
Sep 2020
We went on a Saturday during Covid restrictions. It was not very crowded and there were still 6 saunas open. Lots of indoor and outdoor relaxation areas. The pools are not meant to be hot -- so do not expect a hot tub. We spend most of the time in the saunas, and not the thermal area. We will definitely go back.

I would not reduce the rating of the facility, but I will leave a warning about the massages-- I experienced the weakest massage of my life, and even told the masseuse that I could not feel it at all, but she kept telling me I would hurt the next day... I was quite disappointed because it was not a cheap massage, in my opinion, and I asked beforehand that I have someone with strong hands.

Nice sauna but too many people and a stalker

The sauna place is nice, but they should limit the amount of people. It’s too much to relax. Also people Are Talking in areas where it is forbidden. Nobody is controlling or checking.
Reiki was very nice.

So disappointing
Aug 2019 • Couples
My husband and I are from the US and had only been to one other Therme in Germany before visiting this one in Bad Aibling. We were on a bicycle trip so were very excited to spend 1/2 day relaxing. We paid for the full experience (meaning unlimited time and access to the adult (naked) area). Every pool and hot tub in the entire establishment was the same temperature. Not one “hot tub” was hot - everything was just warm. The outdoor area of the large general pool has spots you can lay on that have some bubbly water jets - but they’re just odd and not fun or relaxing. We went in every pool/hot tub in the general area hoping something other than the paint would be different but other than some pools being a little less lukewarm - nothing changed. We went into the “adult” area hoping for a much more elevated experience - unfortunately that was not to be. There were a few hot saunas - but the pools and not-hot tubs were the same lukewarm old bathwater - expect you had to be naked for them... We ate some overpriced food - just to pass the time. Probably weren’t there more than 2 hours - and that was too long.

lovely spot
Nov 2019
We had 4 hours here and it was terrific. A great facility with a large area of free parking for spa users. Great staff. A pleasant restaurant area and good steam room. Nice saunas as always. Funky indoor pool grotto with cameras to stop unseemly activities! Step on the plate in the grotto for a huge bubble surge. The views from the Chiemgau Therme (Bad Endorf) are better, but the 2 spas are excellent and amazing that they are so close together.

Good thermal spa
Feb 2019 • Couples
It is nice and cosy. They have 2 heated outdoor pools, several thermal ones and a fine selection of saunas. Compared to the nearby Therme Erding it is a bit smaller but less crowded.

Keep in mind electronic devices are not allowed inside and in the sauna area swimwear is forbidden. (You have to be naked)

We paid 25 euro per person for 4 hours in all available areas.

best during the work week :-)
Dec 2018 • Friends
Every now and then, the visit to Therme is perfect leisure time. During the work week obviously best, less crowded, always a more quiet place for a snooze between the pool domes. Passed there before Christmas and was lucky with nice weather. So, time is well spent in the outside pool. The whole facilities are in best and proper condition, even after long years of operation. All well maintained.

Pleasant relaxation in warm pools
Sep 2018 • Couples
It is true that it is not so large, but we visited during the weekday and stayed from the opening till 5pm and it never got too crowded. There was enough chairs and plenty of room in every pool. Everything was neat and we really enjoyed the realaxation. The staff was super friendly (with an exeption of the staff of restaurant). I must say that there are many spas with less comfort for much higher price. We would definitely like to come back.

A relaxing day
Sep 2018 • Couples
The downside of these baths is that there is no real temperature difference between the pools (apart from the cold plunge) and for short people there is no variation in depth. Nor are there any real power jets. However, the saunas and steam rooms are superb, with a huge variety of temperatures, aromas and surfaces. I would highly recommend getting the ticket for the sauna side rather than the baths side (there is a pool in the sauna side too). The sauna side is naturist, so don't expect to be able to wear clothing in the steam rooms etc. A four hour ticket costs 20 euros.

super nice place but on Weekends with bad weather you better ask before paying the entrance fee at the counter how many visitors are by number in the sauna. If the boy doesnt want to tell, just go somewhere else like Tegernsee sauna- there they limit the crowd, if they tell you in Bad Aibling a number of more than 300 or crazy 400 plus..go somewhere else. The management doesnt stop the guests entering and it is no fun if more than 300 people walk in and out the saunas and you have to sit close to your neighbour because it s overcrowdet. On sunny days and weekdays its a perfect place..go for it
