Cwmcarn forest is one of my top places to take the family and dog for a weekend walk. With a wide variety of trails suitable for all abilities, the forest is well maintained with good facilities.

Regular visitor for many different reasons from walking the dog to family fun days for BBQs by the pond in the sunshine. Have also experienced the glamping pods which are clean and well furnished.

Not a bad cafe for hikers and cyclists - the food can take a very long time to arrive but the food always tastes great.

The Forest drive has various different paths and walks, there is also different mountain bike trails, there is a gift shop and a restaurant. The only negative is that there is a pay and display car park, but the price wasn't bad.
