Visited along with my family. Spend 2hrs waiting for winch car and 1.30hrs for rope car. But enjoyed my darsan as free darsan was less people whereas paid darsan was crowded. Don't know why people always prefer paid darsan,when free was quick.

I went to Palani Murugan Temple. The Palani Murugan Temple is one of the six prominent Murugan Temples in Tamil Nadu. It is believed that Lord Karthikeya left his luxury life of Kailash and came here to gain knowledge. It is great place to go.

Why do you pay such touts?!!! There is a very good pilgrim info center that gives excellent guidance to tourists... There are touts and brokers all over our country who are always ready to cheat the gullible... is it not up... More

There is a guy called Balan... 09791500513. He should be able to get you quick darshan... he is expensive but reliable. All the best...

@ JInudev, Other than Rope car and paid queue. There is another option name as winch.
