Stunning Place to Visit
Aug 2017 • Couples
Had a quick stop at this lake as part of a Lake Garda tour. Absolutely beautiful place which seemed to be very quiet with not a lot of tourists about. The castle on the lake looks like something out of a child's fairy tale book. Will definitely return here to do a walk round the lake as this is possible.

Great scenery -stunning
Apr 2017 • Friends
We have never ceased to be amazed with the stunning views around lake garda and this is no exception. This lake is a very petty one with a castle and bar and restaurant so a great place to stop for some R&R.

Magical Place
Aug 2016 • Couples
Why was this area not full of tourists? The views are unbelievable. There's a really lovely walkway around the lake. The Castle is very nice for a glass of wine and dessert. The views are just unreal with the Steve mountain as a backdrop. Best to have a car or hire a bike as its a long walk and it is a long walk to see it all and impossible to not see it all.

Fairy tale view
Apr 2015 • Business
Seeing the castle on the lake looks like a fairy tale come true. A ancient castle right on the lake, with a great restaurant inside, kayaking on the lake must be wonderful.

For poets and romantic souls: Medieval castle surrounded by a lake in the mountains
Jul 2014 • Couples
Lake Toblino is probably the most scenic spot in the Valley of the lakes (Valle dei Laghi). Seen from the northern shore, Castle Toblino rises from the lake with the imposing Monte Casale in the background. A walkway follows the entire western lake shore and allows for splendid pictures of the castle. The Castle today functions as a restaurant and can not be visited as an attraction. Ideal time for great pictures is just before sunrise, when fog still surrounds the castle.

Two tiny lakes into the Trento Alps not to be missed
Feb 2014 • Friends
These two tiny lakes are originated, like others in the area, from dams of moraine hills. They are separated by a bottleneck that is crossed by a bridge from the highway 45bis, making more attractive the landscape of this region, west of Trento: the steep and high mountains that surround the lakes are softened by their presence. The lakes moderate the climate too: the north shore of Lake Toblino is covered by a thick forest of holm oaks, typical Mediterranean trees but inusual in Trentino region. The most impressive sight of both lakes is almost certainly the Toblino Castle, the historic building still lying on the north shore of the lake: seen from the east side, it without too much effort can recall the view of the more famous castle of Chillon on Lake Geneva.
Footpaths with explanatory panels allow you to enjoy properly the lakes, not to be missed even for those who hurriedly cross the region.
