Our 9 and 5 year old kids had a lot of fun feeding the reindeers. It's really nice to see these animals and to be able to get close to them! Though separated by a fence, the reindeers came really close enough in order to eat the feed from our hands.

Very nice place - very good food! I would definitely like to visit this place in the winter with dog sledding and winter activities :-)

We visited the Ice Hotel and Gabba Park on a day in Kirkenes. We didn't expect it to be anything special, but the local guide was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. The visit to the Ice Hotel was really fascinating and quite beautiful. Although the reindeer looked a little miserable, the husky dogs were just fabulous and so friendly. Feeding time... More

This park adjoins the Snow hotel. I had a visit to the hotel, saw the huskies in their very well maintained area and had a great fish soup at the Gabba restaurant for lunch. All very enjoyable!

If you were to come just for the reindeer then you'll be sadly disappointed. All the reindeer in the small enclosure were castrated (apparently necessary to stop them fighting when kept in close proximity) and consequently had either minimal horns or none at all. Santa would not have recognised them! Overall, the enclosure seemed too small and restricted and the... More

We were there in 2 days, the first to do the dog sledding tour and the other to sleep in the snow hotel. The restaurant in circular, all in wood, with a fireplace/oven in the middle. Wild animals as decoration and reindeer skin, blankets, soft lights, small windows....Perfect! The first day we had some hot juice and cake, the second... More

We came here on an excursion visit via the Hurtigruten’s Midnatsol. The excursion was for 2 and a half hours , but first we had to get there by coach. When we eventually arrived, were herded to see the reindeer , of which there were only two. Bearing in mind that this venue was the Gabba 'reindeer park', I had... More

I was there two days ago on husky sledding trip. We saw reindeers, dogs and snow hotel. It was truly amazing! We really wanted to go later to snow-mobiling but unfortunately it was fully booked. The whole trip lasted 3 hours. They took us with a bus from Hurtigruten terminal (we came with a ship) and we drove for about... More
