There are two parts in this museum: One everyone can see, which is the largest and fairly interesting in itself and makes most of the tour. Loved this! Really insightful. Lots to learn. Lots of interactive exhibits. Great for children and adults alike. Couldn't move for interesting things. Space station. Jumping on the moon. Simulator. Rocket launch demos...just fantastic. Spent 3 hours here with our 3 & 5 year olds.

We took the kids here whilst visiting Holland, and they loved it. The museum is smaller than I thought it would be, but is well laid out and most of the exhibits are interactive which the kids loved playing with, and because we got there early they didn't have to wait to play with the exhibits but it did start... Nice, very informative (but careful when going to the planetarium as the whole thing is narrated in Dutch) but (in my opinion) you shouldn't waste any beach time to go there. Perfect for a rainy day, though...

Outdoor play area and cycle parking and beautiful outdoor photo exhibition began the experience, before even entering the expo. For 9+s there's the intriguing visit to the adjacent ESA center by road train. The booklet for our older one and certificate at the end helped us visit key points around the museum. The quarter size models of Rosetta and Philae... More

Space Expo is a nice space museum to happen upon if you have no other plans for a day, though I wouldn't recommend a separate trip to see it if you're not staying in the Noordwijk area. There are some interesting facts here - mostly laid out in a way more friendly to kids than adults - but I've heard... More
