For this small city it is a very nice and interesting Cathedral. And the first time you come inside and have a nice, fresh smell. The Cathedral is free of entrance and worth to visit. And outside the church you will find plenty of nice...More

A clear reference of all the arquitectonic styles of the area, the cathedral took many years to be done so you can se a mix and influences of all the arquitects and styles that influenced Jaca and Aragon in the Medieval Ages.

It is worth visiting this very old and surprisingly small cathedral. The main problem is that most of the interior is in darkness unless someone pays €1 to turn on the lights and then only a small area is lit up. It is interesting both...More

I have been already thinking, that the cathedral must be extremely high, big and robust, but the Jaca one is nearly to miss it. It was constructed in 11 century and with Loarre Castle can give quite unexpected positive surprise of Romanesque architecture. The Alabaster...More

Beautiful cathedral with all styles from Roman to Gothic to Baroque incorporated in one building. To really see some of the interior, pay an euro to put on the lights.

I understand this to be the oldest Romanesque Cathedral in spain. Very little interior light. Narrow, alabaster windows. Easy to imagine spain 800 years ago in this setting. Very simple interior, Very different from the more ornate later Spanish cathedrals. an interesting half hour.
