Beautiful sherry winery, with plenty tasting options, with or without food. Their wines are extremely good and special. Juan Mateos de Arizon's tour and welcoming is superb.

This is a must to visit if in Jerez. The bodegas is interesting and our guide Isobel was incredibly informative, clear, amusing and friendly. The buildings are lovely, the explanation of the history and process was brilliant and the tasting and tasting notes and explanation very enjoyable. Thoroughly recommend. Our tour and tasting of 8 sherries lasted 1hour and a... More

Based on Trip Advisor recommendations we had a good list of places to go tasting. We called ahead to Bodegas Lastau and were able to arrange to join an English-language tour of the winery at 3pm (not sure if the 3pm is always in English). It ended up being an hour long tour and we learned a lot about sherries.... More

A personalized tour that was really interesting. The barrels are not moved until they are finished with. The sherry is transferred from barrel to barrel during the maturing process. Jamieson's Irish whisky is finished in Spanish sherry casks to get its special flavor. It is well worth a visit and I had a tasting of about 10 or 12 sherries... More

During a stay in Jerez last year we were fortunate enough to be able to visit the sherry bodega Lustau. Being in the wine industry, our local shipper of the wines kindly organised our visit. The tour was conducted by brand ambassador Federico, who was most generous with his time and shared information. Visiting the bodega is a fascinating exercise... More

Of the sherry wineries we visited, Lustau had the best tour (by Mario). The sherry-making was thoroughly explained and the tour took us into several buildings, all different for different sherry types. Lustau is a very well known brand name in sherry and make some 30-odd different sherries, at most in 3 different criadeas. The one hour tour ended with... More

Our local wine agent arranged a visit for us to Lustau. We were treated to a VIP tour and tasing that was very generous. There were 12 wines to taste, along with a selection of tapas. Our guide was charming and engaging and the sherries were outstanding. A lovely afternoon.

Together with some other visitors we were provided with an excellent tour of their cellars and provided with an excellent briefing on sherry production and storage. Our guide was very knowledgeable and happy to answer our many questions. Afterwards there was a tasting of eight different sherries of which, in our opinion, the oloroso was best.

Mario was our guide for this - he is very knowledgable and has a real enthusiasm for sherry and educating. Not at all rushed (an hour and three quarters) and absolutely fantastic. Got to taste 9 sherries and a Vermut. Bought a couple of bottles after the tour and looking forward to drinking them! Went to the Tio Pepe tour... More
