We stopped by after the horse show as it's next to it. The tour guide has a heavy accent make it hard to understand at some point. I got more clear info just by reading the descriptions. We saw some wine barrels, paintings depicting the...More

We didn't know anything about sherry, but we were passing through Jerez and I'm so glad we found this opportunity. Our guide was great and taught so much about the process of making sherry, from growing grapes to how to store finished products. We chose...More

We went here as we had just visited the Royal Andalusian Horse School and this around the corner. We chose the cheapest tour (€8) which included tasting of 3 sherries with crisps and olives. Our tour guide was Lillia (not sure of correct spelling). The...More

We had been next door at the spanish riding school, so Sandemans was very convenient. Our guide was excellent - it is obviously smaller here than at Tio Pepe but it didn't feel the worse for that. She explained about the different types of grapes...More

We started our bodega visits at Sandeman only because it was close to our hotel but this proved a fortuitous choice. We didn't book but had checked the tour times and turned up for the 1.30pm English tour. It was still early in the year...More

After reading positive reviews about Sandeman I visited the website to find out what tours were available. English tours were at 11.30, 12.30 and 1.30. There was no facility to book and I had read elsewhere that you just needed to turn up at the...More

I'm pretty sure it is. At least there were no narrow doorways. Have a great tasting!

We love nice sherry and wines but we only have 11 days to do Madrid, Seville, Cadiz, Malaga, and Granada. Is a tour a good use of our time? Thanks!

My thoughts are since you are going to 5 cities in 11 days, I would skip Jerez. Enjoy sherry in the restaurants in the beautiful towns you are visiting. My humble opinion too would be to go to less cities - and enjoy the... More
