Lots of fun but some things could have been better.

It was a fun family day at this pool/ water park. We have a five year old and a two year old so we are always looking for family friendly places.
There were some definite pluses but also some shortcomings.
On the plus side:
For Umbria a great waterslide variety.
Fun sand play area for kids.
Staff was not too strict an allowed us to have fun.
Friendly environment
Music DJ

On a more negative side:
Kids pool is limited compared to others in the area.
Maybe the staff allowed too much, a lot of kids running in sloppy and dangerous areas
The grass area is full of umbrellas and sunbeds. Making it feel more crowded than it needed to be.

It is quite hard to find as it in on industrial estate and park of Flex leisure - you can see the slides but no signs to get there until last minute! head for signs to Decathlon - it is near there.
We thought although there arent many slides - they are good value for the price - be aware that you have to buy swim caps and hire an umbrella on top of the price. Although later in the day we found many people didnt wear a swim cap and the staff werent bothered !
Also be aware that the restaurant is only open at lunchtime and there was only one slide open over lunchtime. so not really realising this - we inquired after food at the restaurant at 2pm just as they were closing. They don't speak very good english but they didnt do take away so we ordered some very expensive chips that turned out to be more like crisps and not many of them for 4 euros and ordered ice cream for another 4 euros - which was served at the same time as the chips ! so kids had to eat ice cream before the chips so it didnt melt. The waitress wasnt very attentive and we never got any water that we asked for. also they took 11 orders and only served up 10 meals. so we paid 8 euros for hardly any food and then got charged 15 euros for local taxes that some restaurants try to get away with still. If we went again we would have brought our own food.

Better for younger ones

A nice place for a relaxed day out. Water slides are better for smaller children, but the basketball and beach volleyball were fun. A good restaurant on site was an added bonus. Remember to take you swim cap!
