Absolutely loved it! We used the free part of it with our lovely towels on the pebbles as it was much nicer than using the sun beds. Too crowded where the sunbeds were and we only stayed for a couple of hrs each afternoon so,...More

beach at this side of sicily is mostly pebble which is fine for us as we did not go to sicily for beach vacation (although we spend lovely time on sandy beaches in realmonte and cefalu) instead, one of the most fun things i did...More

This beautiful beach has scenery which is absolutely breathtaking. Don't go expecting white sand, it's a pebble beach, so make sure to take sandals, because those stones get fiery hot in the summer!!

Personally, I like the pebble beaches more. Yes, you'll need water shoes, but the upside; no sand everywhere and in everything. The beach itself is very clean. The water is crystal clear, but around 2/3 in the afternoon the current brings in debris. Other than...More

We were staying on the slopes of Mount Etna where the weather was bad, so we drove down to Taormina to try and find some sun and be by the sea. The town was packed full with tourists and all we saw was shops selling...More

We enjoyed a day trip to this beach - though we were visiting friends so we were just north of the 'free beach'. The water is refreshingly cool and was crystal clear. We saw more locals than tourists. The pebbles were a bit annoying to...More

I'm just back from a weeks holiday in Letojanni and it was great. The weather was fantastic if a bit too warm at times and there weren't too many people which meant it wasn't touristy. My only complaint if it could be called that was...More
