Amazing view and good hike
Jun 2021 • Couples
Amazing view and great hike even if you not an experienced hiker. We came early and it was not crowded at all. We was suprised that you need ticket to enter but it is worth the money.

Very nice but totally overcrowded
Aug 2020 • Couples
In general there's nothing bad to say about those waterfalls. Visually they are great and especially on hot summerdays the area is nicely refreshing.
The big minus is the amount of people. It is terribly crowded and the walking trail is too narrow to comfortably take over. I understand that people stop to make pictures and enjoy the views, but with those amounts of people, some of them who even make it hard to pass by even though they are just watching, it's a bit of a buzzkill for me. Of course 98% of people don't bother wearing masks though they can't keep proper distance.
Furthermore the directions to the parking (which of course is also overcrowded if you don't come early) aren't exactly great either.
Can be done, but the great views not neccessarily outweigh the minuses.

Very beautiful but crowdy
Aug 2020 • Friends
It’s a very beautiful piece of nature, but very crowdy. Narrow paths, one small path for both directions. It’s a shame that you have to pay 5 euro per person to see this piece of nature, but it’s beautiful.

Worth the effort
Jul 2020 • Couples
We walked to these waterfalls from the nearby lake and it was worth it. To view you have to pay to enter but it is worth it although it is a long and in places steep walk to reach the top level. Many might be content just to view the main waterfall at the base, the upper one is perhaps too long a climb for some and not as spectacular. In places the footpath is not good for less agile people

We had a baby in the group so decided to check out the walk to the falls first thing in the morning at 7 before anyone got there ... so our verdict - it’s not buggy friendly so if you want to t to go with babies or toddlers get a child carrier strapped then it’s easy ... it’s only a few minutes to the first viewing platform the second one is 20 minutes away and further high .. we did not go that high up but were if there is bridge over the waterfalls and nice views as well

Walk up to the falls and enjoy the view. These aren’t the biggest in Austria but definitely worth the time and effort.

Really worth it
Aug 2019
We combined the waterfalls with a visit to the lammerklamm. Therefore we only reached the Gollinger entrance around 11 o'clock. Of course there were more people at the point than when you are earlier on the day but still it was not too crowded.
The parking can be tricky because at the entrance itself are not that many spots but further down the route you can also park your car.
The entrance was good, not too expensive. The path is well maintained. There are also a lot of walking option in the woods around the waterfalls. If you follow the path to the waterfalls till the end (quite a walk up, but very good to walk). there are several beautiful viewing points on the waterfalls. From the source till the lowest drop in the small river.
It was really worth a visit.
