This trip is quite a bit of uphill climb but the views, smells and feel for the land is priceless. The lighthouse is timeless and secluded.

September is a gorgeous time of the year for BI. The walk to the lighthouse is long but the scenario is worth it. We saw 8 sea lions playing in the shallows 3/4 of the way to the light house. Just beautiful.

It is a little bit of a longer bike ride to get here and once the pavement ends it is a half mile walk to the lighthouse itself. I wouldn't recommend it for someone with a walker or crutches but we really enjoyed our visit....More
